I just wanted to drop a quick line about how busy we have been here lately. Definitely rain related. We actually got rained out yesterday and then fogged out then rained out today. Bad for ground rigs, good for us. Anyway have been very busy lately and it would appear others are as well due to the low volume on the website. Oh and congrats Wade on passing the Okie tests!

Been balls to the walls here as well. Looks like it might be slowing down a little, been pulling some all nighters and even some all dayers. I think there is a lot of saddle weary ag-pilots in this area. Everybody is staying safe and getting the job done. Cha-Ching!

cnag, 10-4 on rain driven...
agflyr took most of the words right out of my mouth. Lots of all nighters, lots of saddle weary, about the only exception is that on my side of the mountain we are probably still a few weeks from slowing down, even without the rain. In our area the works generally comes in the day we are to fly it, but as of last night (saturday) sunday, and monday were already loaded up for me.

and.. yes, congrats Wade!

Been swamped here, I've worked almost everyday of 2010 so far. Confim the rain driven theory here too.

We have been turnin' and burnin' the last few weeks. Got some more rain. So far this year I think we have already tripled our average annual rainfall. It has been a pretty good run and bolsters the old paycheck, but man it sure wears ya down. Night flying is great, but sometimes I think that I forget just how much more stressfull and tiring it can be. I did fly one load during the daytime, how crazy is that! lots of wind today, might get a mutch needed and well earned night off. So far everyone has been safe and nothing has gotten broken, bent, folded, mutilated, or spindled. Both operations here are covering a lot area with only a few planes and pilots and doing it well. It's a good final chapter in a season that started out mighty slow.
