Thanks for the encouragement and advice. Like you said, I have learned some about why not to do some of the stuff I was thinking and will probably have a lot more of the answers to the why's and why nots as I progress. I will update as soon as I get some of these important steps done. Thanks again.

Toys come and go. Sounds like you're making forward progress and that's what counts. We have a college going son in primary flight training, and between the airplane being down, the CFI being away at his primary job, and all the other road blocks, things can get bogged down and frustrating. The important thing is to keep moving forward ;)
Good luck!
Take care, Rob

T,
Atta boy!!! :D That's good you posted up on your own this time! I was gonna bust your chops on the 15th if you didn't.
You are making real sacrifice and real progress and not whining about what everybody else thinks, good for you!
Couple of notes; make sure you are registered for the N.C. convention and go to it FOR SURE. You need to do that for exposure to this. With your progress on flying you may now need to pause your flying mid-stream to go to that loading job for the summer. I personally feel that more important than finishing your private. You may decide that ag flying is not for you after all and then if you decide to pick up flying at all in the fall you can potentially be focused on another facet of aviation like freight or airlines, etc. I would try to end it at a good stopping point like get soloed and take your written then pause.
Just my opinion.
Keeeeep going........if you want.

Ok T, it's time again.
You had a full 30 day+ period of "hittin' it hard" and about 21 days since the last post.
What up?
Soloed yet? Convention report? Summer loading slot lined up yet?
Spring will be upon us before you know it, it was only yesterday that it was the beginning of November!

NCAAA convention was great. Met some wonderful folks, plan on attending the flyin to gain some experience and talk with the operators/pilots, close to getting soled, hopfully this week per Instructor. Loading job in question. I really need to get back into a full time job cause the money done run out on the home side and need to prove to the bank I can pay for the next loan.

Get used to it. You should be broke ass broke gettin' into this. Might as well let it run out and keep it on empty for a few years.
Most loading jobs will be full time, just find one of them.
Mine personally equates to about $17,000 in five months of work paid out over six months or so. You should be able to get started with someone in the next month or so.
Remember, if you pass up this season loading you're going to put yourself another year behind.
I wouldn't do that. Unless you can find some really unique situation making like $6,000 a month out in the middle of nowhere with no expenses and nowhere to spend it. Then you could save what you needed in a year and then do it without loans. Your choice.

T.Hewett,

Here's a suggestion, Goto the FAA.gov aircraft registration page and search for part 137 operators. Look for registrations of small tailwheel airplanes such as cubs, champs, citrabria ect.. Some owners registar there personal airplane into the business name. Then go and try getting a job loading there. That way there is an airplane available and more then likely the operator will help you log some hours... You'll probably be able to work out a deal with the operator a lot cheaper than a flight school in a small inexpensive airplane, and Tailwheels are nearly impossible to be able to rent out of a flight school.

Example: G.Parker owns a nice C180, I'm sure if you go loading for him in the summer and stuck around during the winter he'll help you log some hours on his C180. Probably will not let you fly solo, but will allow you act as PIC. Obivously you will need your private & tailwheel endorsement.

@ G.Parker, Did you get my voicemail? I got a quick question concerning insurance. Give me a ring 2394648629
