Fizzle fizzle.....like the aphids last year. Any aphid counts in Iowa anyone??? 100 yesterday in north central Iowa.

Word on the street where im at in NorthEastern Iowa is that the agronomist is telling farmers to wait til 20 percent infestation. To me that sounds like alot.

We just started in on the beans. Not sure how everyone else did, but both of us from AZ flew more corn this year than the last two. On the other hand, beans accounted for about 75% of our work here last year, so unless the aphids really get going we will still be down over all. Down here the corn was about two weeks earlier than last year, and the beans are about the same as last year, so it's not surprising that we're just now getting to them...
